Brand Engineering
Brand Engineering is a brand-building framework developed by our team. Its goal is to manualize, document and systematize every aspect of a brand — from its foundational strategy to its manifestation in physical space — into a comprehensive system that keeps all brand files, guides, manuals and brand strategy resources organized. It is inspired by the international standard ISO 20671, which defines five measurable dimensions — legal, perception, market, environment and financial — as KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of every branding decision.
The 4 pillars
Brand Engineering structures brand building into four complementary pillars. Each covers a specific dimension of the brand.
Pillar 1 — Brand DNA
The strategic foundation. Here we define who the brand is, who it speaks to, what it promises and how it positions itself in the market.
Pillar 2 — Verbal Identity
How the brand sounds. Everything that can be read, heard or pronounced.
Pillar 3 — Visual Identity
How the brand looks. Everything that can be visually perceived.
Pillar 4 — Spatial Identity
How the brand is experienced in physical and digital space.
